What does your family think about your stance on privacy. I have convinced my family to use a signal instead of whatsapp but other then that they don't want to budge.
Do you have similar issues?
@freddyym I'm literally a running joke to most people I know because of it. How dare I not want to rely on Google/Apple/Facebook/Amazon/etc. They are benevolent and make all our lives easier and they all love finding things they like in the ads.
Ugh. It all drives me nuts.
@freddyym I haven't actually talked to them much about, the oxymoron being that I'm a private person by nature so maybe that's why? 😂↔️
@freddyym Yea, mine seem to worship Google, but yet they hate it only because of how much Google wants to be in everyones life. I'm slowly turning them against it though.
But gotta love the classic "I have nothing to hide so why should I care" that always stumps be because I don't know how to defend it.
But if anything, they don't leave Google because they've had it for so long and don't wanna lose all their progress over the years.
