I used to publish articles to Medium but now I use: write.privacytools.io/

Seeing as privacytools.io just created their own Medium an interesting thought came to me.

If I published some of my articles on why privacy mattered and then directed that traffic back to my blog...

Also should I do an article on Hong Kong, I think it could be interesting?

The link is here if you want to share to some friends, seeing as most people on Mastodon care about their privacy I'll only post articles on my main blog but I'll link a the medium ones in the comments if you want!

@freddyym you should definitely use Medium's import tool (medium.com/p/import) when you cross-post. 1) It back-dates your Medium articles to the original posting date, 2) It sets rel=canonical to the original source so you don't get hit with duplicate content — therefore doing so could actually boost your write.ptio blog more effectively (which is the main reason we're using Medium in the first place).

@jonah thanks, will do so from now on! A lot more effective then just copy and pasting the whole thing.
