@freddy@dallin I read most of the article. It’s all a matter of principle. While I agree with the sentiment, I think they should have included better examples of economic reasons to fear the dependence on Amazon. Asking someone to cancel Prime is the same as asking them to run more errands. There isn’t going to be any backpedaling of subscribers. I think Amazon might be broken up by the FTC someday, but I don’t picture the “ship anything” convenience going away
@freddy@dallin Amazon is the last place I buy something from, so don’t put me in the supporter bucket. What I’m saying is I recognize that most people don’t care about these principles.
