If I published such a statement, I would try harder to prevent such an obvious contradiction. I would try as hard as I can. This way you can't really take it seriously anymore, can you?
They have also published a book that can be purchased with cash from a store in person. The article was put out to reach as wide an audience as possible. Sadly, most people do not share our concerns over privacy, and most mainstream publications have trackers.
