Unpopular opinion:
Sometimes I prefer to use the light theme rather than the dark theme 
@captainepoch I'm using the light theme for Mastodon right now. It slaps.

The purple used to be the same grey as the boxes on nixnet.services; it looked great in light mode but the contrast was terrible in dark. I’m going to see what I can do about making a custom theme with most elements being grey again with links/buttons remaining purple.
@freddy I tried to use it, but I liked more the dark one. Here at NixNet I’m using the dark one because I feel the colors match better than the light one.
