@markosaric yeah, it depends on timing I guess. The fact that this has been up for nearly 50 iminutes and only has 3 upvotes isn't hopeful, but if anyone sees this thread in time it might work. I'm really interested to learn more about HNs hidden ways.
@freddy true. i think the best way really to get to the front is for the community there that looks at the new submissions to pick it up naturally. that's somehow mostly down to luck or timing... same post can be submitted now and get 3 votes but get hundreds on a different day/time
@markosaric yeah, I've submitted one of my posts and it only got one comment, then another poster submitted it and it got 60 votes. This GitHub repo contains some very useful information:
