The privacy.io community at matrix is somewhat toxic. After raising criticism against gab and the support for #gab @ (a network of and for white supremacists) multiple people used appeal to ridicule to dilute criticism against supporting the far-right.
Moderators that were present didn't care or supported it.

It is a bit disingenuous to take a single comment.
The context of that was I don't control what other people do (nor can I).
The issue was discussed in some detail https://github.com/privacytools/privacytools.io/pull/1969#pullrequestreview-442128671
The argument that because we're not in agreement we're in support of white supremacists and fascists, is ridiculous.
It's the same argument used by politicians when invading civil liberties and privacy ala: "If you're not with us you're helping terrorists and pedophiles".

My comment relates to an entire thread, the screenshots are just to highlight.

That would be, true. But it is not what I claim. I claim, that a culture that supports the existence of nazis to organize in the open, is giving support to nazis.
Don't confuse this with top down orders legitimizing human-right abuses and so it is not the same as some politicians calling "if you're not with us, you're against us" nonsense

Link? All I see is two YouTube videos from 7 years ago demonstrating Whonix.
