Mastodon is an enigma to me. On the one hand, I’ve discovered several very interesting links/resources through it. On the other, I’ve never seen a larger assemblage of wingnuts in my life. Either it’s entire instances that need to be blocked because they are homehives of white supremacy or it’s edgelords who block me because I won’t agree with them that white men are the cause of all problems in the world. Sprinkle in some waifu fan art and it almost makes Twitter feel like a sane place.
