Mastodon is an enigma to me. On the one hand, I’ve discovered several very interesting links/resources through it. On the other, I’ve never seen a larger assemblage of wingnuts in my life. Either it’s entire instances that need to be blocked because they are homehives of white supremacy or it’s edgelords who block me because I won’t agree with them that white men are the cause of all problems in the world. Sprinkle in some waifu fan art and it almost makes Twitter feel like a sane place.

Today’s photo of the day. A man stands in front of the house he crawled out out after an EF-5 tornado struck.

Today’s photo of the day. Took this through the windscreen with one hand while driving, still not sure how it worked this well.

Random Katydid I found on the car this morning. “MOVE ALONG MAN I’M JUST A LEAF HANGING OUT ON THIS REFLECTIVE TREE”

Today’s photo of the day. From the Joplin tornado some years back. This family survived in their basement.

Is there a way to block instances yourself? If you block it from the web will those settings take on your mobile app? Seems like 95% of the most annoying crap comes from just a few instances.

It's national photography day! Here's my photo of the day, one of my favorites so far that I've shot this year.

This footage was recorded in 1930. Both of these people were born in the first half of the 1800s & have been married for 75 years, sharing memories of their long lives and great romance. It's so heartwarming! pic.twitter.com/nJV0FYhP4n

When I’m not doing IT, I’m a photographer - thought I’d post a pic a day for as long as I can stay motivated to. :) Today’s is a shot of a tornado and a storm chaser near Dodge City, Kansas, May of 2016.

Just played “Journey” from beginning to end on my iPhone. That’s probably the most beautiful game I’ve ever played.
