@clarjon1 @oct2pus idk whether i’m understanding y’all’s conversation correctly but i feel like https://mastodon.social/explore is an ok kinda-solution? b/c it lets users opt-in to being listed on an instance-wide list per hashtag, i.e. https://social.privacytools.io/explore/#rustlang which lets you explore tags and lets users control whether they want to be listed on the list
