Before and After
I changed the gray theme, into something nicer.
I hope so.
Do you like the previous theme, or the new one?

Security should not come at the expense of our privacy, but the opposite: privacy is security, and if we lose the first we cannot have the second.

Worked on (2โœ‚f) again. I said I'll take a break, but somehow the challenge was too interesting to ignore.
I added caching for HTTP request tags and updated the weather tags.
Eg: {darkskyWeather latLong='53.45,-6.21' /} returns `Mostly Cloudy, 5.18ยฐ C, feels like 2.84ยฐ`
And {openWeatherMap where='Dublin,IE' /} returns `Broken clouds, 4.36ยฐ C, humidity 93%`.

Not perfect yet, but I'm getting close :D

To #India and other #newbies: How to find people and be found.

ENGAGE. Toot, respond, boost.

The best way to see, be seen, and engage, is, well, to get out, look for things, and be visible.

DON'T over-share. 1-10x daily? Pretty good. 10-100x daily? Excessive. Less than a few times a month? Where'd you go?

Hashtags. Use them AND search them. Search tags you used for others with like interests.

Be human. Self-promotion, rudeness, single-topic obsession, goes badly.

Started using analytics from getinsights.io/ (a privacy-focused Analytics Platform) on my personal blog crlf.site/ because I'm just naturally curious about the number of page views.
Nice experience so far, it's a good platform!
I believe I'm the only one making traffic, because I check my old notes from time to time to remember some events.

@nikolal What are you trying to implement that you don't have with Keybase? They do encrypt/ decrypt, sign and check on the mobile, don't they? I don't have their mobile app now so I can't check.

Updated the documentation on 2โœ‚f and Overseer projects.
I received an issue on Overseer and I noticed some features were not documented, so that's solved now. It's nice that with each issue, I add a bit more documentation, which hopefully helps other people and saves me time in the future.

@hspotorno Sounds like a very good solution for me because I definitely don't want to track each and every detail about the users, I'm just more or less curious about the number of people looking at it. I'm not trying to make momey or engage an audience :)

@hspotorno It's very useful to share your status, because you never know who will read it!
I had no idea about your product `getinsights.io`! I checked the website, each and every page and it sounds pretty awesome!
I will give it a try on my personal blog crlf.site/ and let you know what I think.

@croqaz and I are trying to keep each other accountable for posting work updates, let's see how this goes :)

Working on a redesign of getinsights.io, because if you can't do design well, it's better to have as little as possible. Trying to cover the niche of developers now, rather than blogs, as most of the alternative tools are doing. Working on turning more of the project open source.

I donโ€™t know why i have a problem with the โ€œfavouriteโ€ button from

I like some posts but I donโ€™t feel like favourit-ing them... but i do like them... i would star them... but not favourite them... hmmm

@hspotorno Yeah... itโ€™s a matter of habit but itโ€™s not easy to talk to yourself.... in a public way right?

Letโ€™s both post what we are doing everyday for a few days and see how that is :))

@cblgh Agreed. We are weird people. Some friends I have think the computer is broken if they see a full screen term.

a "cashless society" scares me.

the freedom to pay, anonymously, in cash is important!

I feel too demotivated to do anything. Going to sleep now.

Sounds like a lot of tech debt, good luck! โ˜˜๏ธ

Woot woot, just implemented two more tags for TwoFold.js (2โœ‚๏ธŽf)

<setVolume nr=1></setVolume> for setting the.... volume :D
and
<setBrightness nr=3><//setBrightness> for setting the screen brightness.
All from a plain text file.
Not sure if that's a real usecase, but it was fun to implement.
