@nikolal @mholiv Looks good! ๐Ÿ‘
You know, just the act of preparing some code for public sets you in a mindset to think about other people using it and it helps a lot. Because you make it more general, or you think about more general cases.\
So it's an awesome exercise :)

@mholiv @nikolal i agree with that statement. I have a ton of crappy unfinished projects and I just write โ€œthis project is no longer maintained! Please donโ€™t judgeโ€ and itโ€™s awesome.
To be honest thereโ€™s so much code today that if you donโ€™t actively promote your stuff no-one will ever look at it anyway

@neauoire This is so so sad and such a bad decision...
I mean, we can always hack macOS and ignore their crappy gate keeper but it's such a shame to have to do this.

I work on myTwoFold project every night but I forget to publish social statuses about it. How other people do this? I guess Iโ€™m a lone wolf or somethinโ€™

@neauoire salt in the wound: if you don't "notarize" it but do codesign it (cryptographic verification the app wasn't tampered with or infected with malware after publishing), it's impossible to run without screwing with the terminal (even right-clicking to run won't work.)

but if you don't "notarize" it and don't codesign it, you can still run by right-clicking and doing the dialog-tries-to-scare-you dance.

they're blackmailing conscientious developers to use their censor system. it's so bad

This is a pretty compelling reason. Esp. if you are writing open source code.

@eosoe Thank you for your reply!
Yes, integrating with an editor might be interesting, I wonder how do you see it? When you press save, the tags would be rendered?
Cheers

I have so many ideas for my TwoFold.js (2โœ‚f) project !
There's huge potential to automate and optimize writing text or code, organizing tasks and having an overview of things out there, all in the same place.
I'm a bit disappointed that nobody cares about my project yet, but well...

@freddyym Thatโ€™s a fork of Firefox right? Itโ€™s a very old project, I remember i tried more than 5 yrs ago but somehow i jumped back to Firefox. You should try it if you have time and post a review maybe ;)

@freddyym I also started to doubt Brave as a privacy browser. It feels definitely better than Chrome but it becomes more and more commercial and smells fishy somehow.

"The programmer, like the poet, works only slightly removed from pure thought-stuff. He builds his castles in the air, from air, creating by exertion of the imagination. Few media of creation are so flexible, so easy to polish and rework, so readily capable of realizing grand conceptual structures."
