Hi. New to Mastodon & not sure if this is the correct way to post or if this is the correct place to post this question...In any event, I am looking for input into some apps that respect privacy. Specifically, I am looking for the following app types to replace some apps that do not respect privacy: 1) A calendar app; 2) A To-Do or action tracker app; 3) a Music app like Pandora that respects privacy. I would be willing to pay for an app if it doesn't track or steal my information. Any ideas?

Some general advice. tosdr.org might help you avoiding services you don't like. switching.software might help you find software alternatives. Choose Free Software apps as much as possible.

1 + 2) you can run a calender service on a freedombox. On Android you can connect it with davx5 and etar. On your desktop you could connect it with Thunderbird. This might not be as user-friendly or easy but it might be worthwhile.

3) maybe jamendo??? Not sure.
