If a friend of mine has tagged me on a Facebook post (photo) when i had a Facebook account and i deleted my account later, will Facebook's facial recognition technology still have access to my facial data? If that's the case should i ask my friend to delete the photo or switch off facial recognition in Facebook settings
Wearing a balaclava in my city will raise suspicions as it's a city with a warm climate. I came to know using black paint in certain parts of the face will reduce facial recognition technology from recognising me. However i feel this would raise suspicions.
I would also like to know what are the threats to privacy if facial data is available in the hands of the government and private agencies
@jonah Please help me
@cjleads @jonah I'm not sure what's going to happen on this front but SOMETHING will happen. Sooner than later someone is going to invent something that will counteract facial recognition.
It could be something as simple as something you carry in your pocket the size of an iPod player that puts out a signal that distorts your digital image to cameras etc but it's always a cat and mouse game.
