@aral We already have great cars that are safer and sustainable. Their big problem is that they don't have the logo of Mercedes-Benz or BMW on the front. The biggest problem of Linux is not a problem of availability as much as a problem of branding. Distros like Ubuntu, Mint, etc. are as simple to use as any competitor, but why take the chance with some weird penguin stuff when everyone else uses good ol' Windows? It's the tragedy of the commons.
