Mycroft is an opensource AI assistant that you can install on a computer or server currently. Most of the skills built by the community are to give it functionality the Siri and Alexa have and a little more. I am programming a skill to give privacy tips.

Test run went well. All set for tonight's stream.

So it looks like obs-studio is cooperating today. I'm about to start a stream on Mycroft and record it and do another tonight since the night time seems when most people are on masto and interested in mycroft.

It was the window bug. I found later that if I streamed, without the obs preview window open it was fine.

https://dev.tube would be the only thing close that I know, but they do not support live streaming at the moment. The stream from last night had issues due to my second monitor and refresh rate. I'll be doing it again today and using a second computer to keep an eye on the stream instead of using a second monitor which OBS-studio doesn't like.

Tonight I discovered you cannot have obs-studio open on another monitor while streaming on the same computer. It has to be minimized. That should definitely be documented somewhere.

So note to self dont use two monitors with two different bitrates. We will be back tomorrow with the same topic. Without the glitchy screen.

First look this is a gorgeous new layout. It will really help the creation of the new privacy skill on Mycroft AI.

I've been working with Mycroft since before Mark I came out. The big downfall for putting it on a mobile device is that mycroft-core is not ready for mobile so you are connecting to an instance on a server you put up. So there is no in depth telephony skills allowing you to do things like call or text through mycroft on mobile. But it's in the works.
