okay confirmed that streaming at my new place is nice.
a quick twitch test was okay.
now I'm going to look into doing it in a self-hosted way and multiplex out of my own server (remotely)

@SpunkyAlpaca Oh, I've seen this! I was going to legit hand roll tbh lol but I'm not against using something! I do want it to be something targeted for a single user tho (like only I will be streaming from my site)

So like, I checked out a few interfaces and there's like so many little nitpicks I have with the UX (lol). But I'm down to at least try it out and go live with it.
Do you know of any instances open for people to attempt streaming? If not, I'll consider hosting one

I'm gonna put one up tonight. Trying to think what to call it. We usually use a subdomain of our helpchangethe.world or stoptrackingus.io domains. But I'm open to suggestions for names for the open use instance.

I'm more interested in seeing a development-focused streaming platform based on Free Software rather than an alternative to Twitch and YouTube.
That said, I'd also contribute to something something like streaming.helpchangethe.world or community.helpchangethe.world or similar with the stoptrackingus.io domain name.
