Tighten up your privacy controls on windows and dual boot. Or run your Linux variant in virtualbox/seamless mode for now. Ultimately, (budget allowing) you would have two separate devices, one locked down for gaming, and the other privacy/security (QubesOS). Sidenote, from a data leakage/privacy standpoint, it is a good idea to be running PiHole or a proxy to visibly and defensibly see that you are in fact running in alignment with your privacy model. Pi-hole rocks, setup as a vm or local - very powerful. Great blocklists to be had and list can be refreshed on demand. Worth explow.
