Why is Firefox’s user.js file so complicated?? I just want to remain logged into specific websites after closing and restarting my browser :akko_cry:

With my current config, I remain logged into GitHub, Slack, Nextcloud, and Kanboard but am logged out of Pleroma, Discord, Element, and Gotify. I’m sure other random sites are included in both categories but these are the ones I have in pinned tabs that need to stick around.

(no, the solution is most definitely not installing the electron apps. webshit belongs in a browser tab)

@amolith I think various cookie management extensions will do what you want - you whitelist certain sites and tell the ext to delete all the other cookies after a set time or at close.

@bthylafh I already have an extensions that give me the functionality I want in that area, I'm just trying to get this config to not interfere with it. It's like it's telling Firefox to discard session and cookie information even though I've told it not to :akko_thonk:
