Sure "github", ill click on your link, this is obviously not a phishing attempt /s

@danarel how can you even pretend to care about privacy if you use a macbook /s

@sheogorath i guess, but how do you even fix that if it doesnt reboot, command line trickery in the bootloader?, boot a live system?

@micahflee question, have you ever considered to add a functionality to Onionshare where you can just paste the link into their own onion share, and let it download the file on its own, so people dont have download and open the link in tor browser?

If you want to share a file with a friend or colleague, you don't have to trust a third party service. You can use OnionShare.

The newest version even lets you publish static websites as onion services.

The work on opening up the privacytools organizations continues, we are now busy creating a draft for sub teams. These will be focus groups meant to improve specific aspects of out project and community. It will make use able to easily coordinate other members as part of the Core-team, and lets us do proper rights management as well. (For example, the Artwork Sub-team does not need moderation rights on our subreddit)

Have a look!

P.S. keep in mind, this is a draft.

@CodiMD @amolith@masto.nixnet.xyz @snopyta @caltlgin@masto.nixnet.xyz hmm, maybe we could host an instance as well.

I (Dan Arel) - work in the health care industry so if I have been MIA the last few weeks, it's because my day job has kept me buried with all that's happening with COVID-19.

Just know, the site is up, active, and we care deeply about your privacy still!

“Tech rights” can’t even figure out how to use an SSL certificate. But sure, pretend he’s a news source for privacy.

While everybody is talking about #COVID19, US Congress was sneaking a bill through aimed at destroying end-to-end encryption. #earnit #Fight4Privacy

Our prime minister just addressed the nation about the coronacrisis. These are some weird times i tell ya.

@micahflee great to hear, it will be another step in normalizing .onion s for the general public, and allow people to read it securly and anonymously.

Say, @micahflee has the intercept ever considered running an .onion mirror of their website? (Or does it already have one that i am unaware of?)
