There was recently a lot of news about DNS over HTTPS. Some people say it's bad for privacy because it centralizes the DNS requests on Google, Cloudflare and Quad9.
Time to change that and run your own DNS over HTTPS server. I spend some time today in writing, documenting and arranging a small container setup to allow you to do this:

Maaaaybe don't email me about your "privacy respecting" product that I should list on my site and then have my privacy add-ons light up because of the number of trackers on your site...
@batalanto ive contacted the author of that article, joepie (hes active in our community) to talk with him about this, ill be looking into this.
Meanwhile though: you can still donate through crypto currency to avoid cloudflare while we are figuiring this out, as we exchange those for normal money and then forward it to opencollective, so we will be in between. You may be able to do this via librapay as well, but i would have to check whether librapay is using cloudflare aswell or not.

ThinkPrivacy is back up and running with some new recommendations from our friends at @1Password @Authy @disconnectme and others.
Our goal is to offer easy, out of the box privacy solutions to the everyday user.
