@supernova wouldnt take "epheremal messages" as anything serious.
nothing stops the other party from making a screen or taking a picture of the screen, its security snakeoil.
all i could help with is keeping your phone clean, and being sure that the chat is gone on your own device in the case it gets seized at a later point in time. Also you need to make sure it gets propperly scrubbed instead of just being "deleted" in the tradional meaning.
@L1Cafe step one: wipe your disk
step two: install linux
stwp three: profit
@dan 1+ for rust, ever heard of redox os?
@Aggharshit010899 Duckduckgo, since it has an .onion address, and because it doesnt use googles censored results
@sheogorath Well the problem is, mozillas income depends for 90% on google being the default search engine in firefox. When they change that, mozilla income will drop even further, making it harder to develope firefox.
@BurungHantu Tor browser :)

We are looking for your CodiMD story. How do you use it? How do you run it? Where do you use it and why?
I wrote my little story about the CodiMD demo instance down:

Seems to be some progress on the librem, but there is still some bumps in the UX that they have to iron out, which seem to be mostly related about UI stability and optimilization of the graphics driver, also there seemed to be some problems with getring calling to work correctly, but overall the device looks good and functional. It will be interesting where #Purism will take their #Librem5 in the coming months.
@Purism Pretty excited! Could you also give us some insight in how the graphical performance is? On older show case videos the UI seemed to act a bit slow and choppy, has this been resolved yet?
@supernova @Mayana well tbh, ca's are terrible to. This is an example of why i like .onion services for example, they are self authenticating
@paulakreuzer it will be floss
@jonah so, what actully happend?
I'm lately getting more and more annoyed that people say we cannot recommend ddg because the use aws.
then when you ask them for an alternative, they say searx, which is a metasearch engine, so it asks other searchengines, which can also have pirvacy issues, for him. Then they come with the genius idea of selfhosting it, forgetting that this means you will be the only on searchinf from this ip, and you will indirectly search google. 1/3
@supernova @Mayana Doesnt this increase centralization to, making this central services your prove of identity?
