@hrthu @jaiden4079 You should retry, tor has become a lot faster. you also have to use a one hop service, that way you get all the security goodies and better performance, but you lose your services anonymity.
@blacklight447 @jaiden4079 I still have it running, essentially as a backup if I lock myself out. I'll have to check about the one hop setup as it still seems slow to me.
@blacklight447 @jaiden4079 Am I missing something or does the one-hop setup require one to compile tor? Would that also mean that I give up the regular Tor or does one run both simultaneously?

@blacklight447 @jaiden4079 I set this us a few years ago but it always seemed slow. Do you tweak it? Other than setting up the private onion address, my torrc file is stock debian.
