Does anybody know how to stop addon fingerprinting in firefox/torbrowser?
@jaiden4079 tor browser does already all the fingerprint protection out of the box, often alot better then most of the so called "hardend"(tldr FF with a crapton of addons and about:configs prefs switched) will ever be able to provide.
@blacklight447 Wouldn't there still be possible websocket / useragent / xmlhttpreq / css attacks possible?
@jaiden4079 some css attacks are possible to look up screensize, but this cannot be solved thru addons, its also why tbb advises you to not resize the window if you have a high threatmodel. Anyway believe me, you will not make your firefox more resistant than tbb against fingerprint, and dont even think about modifying tor browser with addons, since you will only make yourself less anonymous by looking different then all other tbb users.
