Some speakers probably have a better ROI by paying for their speech rather than getting paid by the speech and he is clearly counting on it

@bidetaggle Probably. But that means that he’ll only give a stage to a certain kind of people - those who can afford traveling to speak for free. Which means his conference will be super commercial (people sent by companies who pay for travel) and non-diverse. People should know that and not invest time/energy in his event.
