@ben_dw for some reason, my responses are not going through. I use orgmode for all of my work stuff. I use #omnifocus for my personal stuff, as it has a better mobile presence, but i would love to use org mode for my daily life.
@ben_dw I wholeheartedly agree with the common advice to start slow and only use features when needed. Org is wonderful but it started to become a rabbit hole for me a couple of years back. It took a while to realise that I should take a good look at my actual needs and start from there, and that not everything needs to be done within org.

@ben_dw I'm a non-techie who has been using #emacs and #orgmode for almost two years now. It is daunting, but now I can't work without it. My advice: start slow and don't try to configure everything at once. Spacemacs is a nice way to start.
