There was a little bump, but two hours to go and it's still far away from the finish line. Turns out I'm not an influencer 😩

There's four hours to go on this kickstarter card game I backed called "Corrugated Jungle" (kickstarter.com/projects/sirbo), and it doesn't look like it'll make it.

It's pretty cheap for what it promises, and the gameplay looks pretty novel. It features cute animals illustrated in the style of cardboard models of animals, and revolves around a theme of recycling. It comes printed on a sheet of postcard material which you cut, or you can order it pre-cut. Backing it now might make a difference.

"cancel culture"

via reddit:

> Do you think people will understand the value of privacy due to the 'cancel' culture now?

I mean, sure, throw your money into privacy-preserving tech AND shut up in public? Sounds like a win-win to me.

"cancel culture"

I've been seeing increasingly more posts from obvious bigots who are absolutely terrified of "cancel culture", which is rich because I always read the term as "consequences".

While half of our team has been working on some much-needed documentation, the other half has been finding and fixing bugs. CryptPad v3.19.1 is a minor release to make more of those fixes available sooner.

Brilliant idea #1244152143:

Famous depictions of scenes from the new testament but instead of jesus it's Totoro

You're welcome.

“But under communism, we wouldn’t own anything!”

You’re still paying off the mortgage on your house, you needed a bank loan to get your car, and you’re paying a subscription to watch movies, listen to music, and use software.

You don’t own anything under capitalism anyway.

just to be clear, I get that the developers are Japanese, I'm just trying to make sure that's the main reason.
