Our own Aaron MacSween (@ansuz) will take (and answer) questions about CryptPad, privacy, and anything you can think of via a reddit AMA starting later today. Details to follow...

@cjd @cryptpad I'm just gonna back away slowly before this thread becomes a RIIR issue (https://github.com/ansuz/RIIR)
CrypPad v3.24.0 is live on CryptPad.fr with release notes available on GitHub (https://github.com/xwiki-labs/cryptpad/releases/tag/3.24.0).

Yesterday we announced the first version of our documentation, now online at https://docs.cryptpad.fr Some more details on this. π

@grainloom I just got through the basic setup of my peertube instance. There's still a little more work to do with it, but the instance is here: https://tube.cryptography.dog
I'll probably make the final account tonight/tomorrow, but I'm not sure how long it'll be before the first episode is ready.
@grainloom I'm looking into setting up a peertube instance now, so assuming that goes smoothly there might be an account you could follow as early as this weekend. in any case, I'd announce things and boost it from this account once I start actually producing episodes.
I say "podcast" but I'd most likely distribute it via peertube. Also, I have enough ideas for a rather large number of episodes already. Maybe I'd bring in guest cryptographers if I run out of content I could produce by myself.
I want to gauge interest in a podcast/video series about cryptography and game design.
It would feature stuff like mental poker and other "provably fair" games, secure multi-party computation, and p2p implementations which reflect the adversarial nature of the game in question. The field is fascinating and as far as I know there aren't any shows covering it.
Please favourite or reply if you'd be interested in such a thing.
There was a little bump, but two hours to go and it's still far away from the finish line. Turns out I'm not an influencer π©
@Ophillous @ebeth @chosafine Not to be all "reply-guy" and go "why not this other rpg"... but I'd love to see this done with "Troika!". Its setting is a bunch of very loosely related "spheres" connected by sky-boats, so the contrasting themes of instances seems like it would work particularly well.
Of course, there's no reason why the fediverse can't have both.
There's four hours to go on this kickstarter card game I backed called "Corrugated Jungle" (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/sirbob/corrugated-jungle/description), and it doesn't look like it'll make it.
It's pretty cheap for what it promises, and the gameplay looks pretty novel. It features cute animals illustrated in the style of cardboard models of animals, and revolves around a theme of recycling. It comes printed on a sheet of postcard material which you cut, or you can order it pre-cut. Backing it now might make a difference.
