The European Commission has published a page with collaboratively curated resources for organization in response to the #Covid_19 pandemic and they're using the encrypted @only_office@twitter.com integration that was funded by @NgiZero@twitter.com grants! Check it out: https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/fpfis/wikis/display/SEC/Social+economy+in+the+fight+against+Corona
Wow, I read the bit about _weather underground_ and was curious.. A web search led me to an IBM-owned startup (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weather_Underground_(weather_service)) instead of the radical left militant organization (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weather_Underground) despite the fact that I'm currently in Ann Arbor (where the organization was formed).
Disappointing that the name was coopted, but unsurprising that the business has better SEO.

Super happy I ordered a copy of "Pyramid arcade" from Looney Labs before this quarantine business started. It has a lot of interesting two-player games to keep me and my wife from going crazy.
FYI: most of the included games are available online and could be played with bits of things available around the average house.
We were getting ready to announce this but apparently we've been scooped! We greatly appreciate the surge of premium subscriptions from users that can afford it. Your support enables us to provide our service to those that can't, because everyone deserves #privacy. #COVID19

update the list if your internet is broken
It's come to our attention that EasyList (https://easylist.to/) recently deployed an update which incorrectly blocks a lot of legitimate web resources. If you're stuck on a white page when loading http://CryptPad.fr try disabling your blocker and trying again.

@kikir I develop CryptPad (an encrypted collaboration suite). We don't do audio/video, but we're deploying a big update to our encrypted kanban this coming Tuesday (March 17th).
There's a preview here: https://social.weho.st/web/statuses/103812078688599645
...and the platform's full source-code is available here: github.com/xwiki-labs/cryptpad
Fast forward to New Year's Eve 2029. Everybody is writing their top 10 memories of the decade on whatever medium has replaced blogs and social networking as we know it. Everyone who is still alive laughs and relives the memories of dancing to the coronavirus song during self-quarantine. Children born in the winter of 2020-2021 cringe as their parents recount their memories of being cooped up together.
For anyone who's worried about their online collaboration tools staying up, now is a great time to consider hosting open-source services for yourself! Our platform's code (and many others) are listed in this collection on GitHub: https://github.com/awesome-selfhosted/awesome-selfhosted#office-suites
It seems a lot of people are finding out about http://CryptPad.fr now that their team has transitioned to remote work. Coincidentally, we've been working on a major upgrade to our encrypted kanban app featuring a markdown editor and tagging system for all your tasks. #WFH
CryptPad v3.13.0 (aka NorthernWhiteRhino) is now live on http://CryptPad.fr! It introduces the ability to limit access to a pad via an "access list". See the full release notes on GitHub for more info: https://github.com/xwiki-labs/cryptpad/releases/tag/3.13.0
People depend on your project. Every time they do, roll a die. If they roll less than the number of bugs they yell at you, otherwise increase your street cred by 1.
You have a pet project. It has 1 bug. Every time you pitch your project, roll a die. If the result is less than your street cred then increase your street cred by 1, otherwise your software gains 1 bug.
