@riccomatx I think @freedomboxfndn is doing a great job proofing that in fact almost everyone can start #SelfHosting . It's mostly a #UX challenge and a bit of a motivation thing.
I also think #ZeroKnowledge hosting is an awesome approach for building trustworthy hosted services. @cryptpad are heroes in my book. I hope all #OpenSource and especially #Fediverse projects like #Mastodon , #PeerTube , #PixelFed , etc. will adopt zero knowledge hosting.

I'd be happy to chat with anyone interested in building more apps with this kind of architecture. There are definitely some challenges, but we've learned a few tricks along the way.
