@rootbsd @retroedgetech I only have a 150mbps connection and it has no problem handling that, but it's nowhere near enough for a real stress test.

@rootbsd @retroedgetech That's funny, I actually went the opposite route. I went from pfsense, to opnsense, to just straight openbsd.

@mate My vote went to Other. I'm a bspwm user so I often have the traditional menu bar but with no title bar.

@retroedgetech @derek I have been recommending Manjaro to new users for years and have converted quite a few happy people.
It has all of the proprietary garbage they might need for work and it makes it extremely easy for them to maintain updates on their own indefinitely.

Stable release distros are for servers.

@retroedgetech For years I suffered from a bad case of linux distro hopping, little did I know that OpenBSD was the cure.

I'm on a T460s myself.

@retroedgetech I give it two weeks before you're on openbsd full time. :D

@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat In this case it's qutebrowser, although I'm sure I've had at least one other browser blocked by google in the past as well.

If you're a web developer that uses the data mining tool on your site, you're preventing many visitors from ever being able to contact you due to limited browser support on their end. I have been blocked numerous times while trying to notify site owners of errors on their site.

We have been warned that a free version of #Fedilab has been published on GPlay.

We don't own it and we didn't build that version. If you want to use the app for free, you should only download it from #Fdroid which builds apps from sources.

@ademalsasa I've never used Whatsapp, but my "Other" vote goes to XMPP and Matrix networks.

Telegram is not open source, Signal requires personal information, and Element is just one example of a Matrix client.
