@freddyym The Chinese community on Mastodon was just talking about this. IMO the protests lack a strong leader, a succinct agenda, organization, and solidarity. They are more like an expression of emotions. And on a socialist aspect, divisions btw different groups only hinder the process of challenging those in power.

Granted since I left the States, I only have a glimpse of the full picture from news and social networks. I hope the protests could really lead to positive changes.
