My way of saying happy new year over IMs:
Signal: basically every contact
WhatsApp: haven’t had too many friends on it so just say it to everyone
Messenger: just go down the chat history and stop around the 10th person.
WeChat: Lemme navigate down all those group chats that went crazy, and the subscribed accounts, and unimportant ppl… Oh wait, I almost missed my ex-boss

You ever considered something like Trillian?
@alteredEnvoy Trillian is a program that combines all the different apps into one so you only have to use one program 🙂
They can use whatever they want but you can have them all in one contact list /app 🙂
