For the unaware, #Googlesharing was a web site that Mike Benham had set up by way of deceit about 10 years ago. He used a false identity (at the time had already started using the alias Moxie #Marlinspike, now his legal name) and false contact details in breach of both #ICANN rules and #French contract law.

He claimed that it was an anonymising proxy to Google, and it might have been so, but in the process he was in a position to collect whatever data he pleased from his many users.
