Heute ist ein guter Tag.
Heute habe ich guten Unfug fertiggestellt. Heute wurden diese Awards im !@metalab verliehen.

* Couldn't reach out to much people. Even though I combined the contact list of my diaspora and mastodon account I felt like my posts didn't reach as many new & existing contacts then any post on Mastodon. The main problem is that posts might/do not show up from my account, if there are not much people following my instance.

Seven years ago, as the news declared I was being charged as a criminal for speaking the truth, I never imagined that I would live to see our courts condemn the NSA's activities as unlawful and in the same ruling credit me for exposing them.

And yet that day has arrived.

Der statistische Vergleich von Wäldern die unterschiedlich stark von Nadel- und Laubbäumen geprägt sind, bestätigte dies für weite Teile #Europa. Eine Erhöhung der Laubbäumen von 10 auf 80% reduziert an heißen Tagen die Temp. um bis zu 1,8°C in der atlantischen Region und bis zu 1,5°C im kontinentalen und mediterranen Bereich.

Man muss laut AGB der ÖBB die Vorteilscard dem Schaffner auf verlangen hin aushändigen. Diese sind angewiesen den darauf befindlichen QR-Code ein zu scannen. Die damit erfolgende Verarbeitung persönlicher Daten (Zweck und Umfang etc.) ist nicht in der Datenschutzerklärung aufgeführt, jedenfalls wurde ich nicht fündig. Sehe nur ich da ein Datenschutzproblem?

Checking the list of available services (like Liberapay, FlattR etc) it seems shocking, though, that the only payment processors they use are always PayPal and Stripe. Should you know any that also supports SEPA or at least Bitcoin, please let me know…

A better solution is more #decentralization, #FreeSoftware, and access to technical education. When people do not want to use software because of its bias, they can build their own using free software building blocks, rather than starting from scratch. If they do not personally have the technical skills, people can be hired to implement designs. But this is difficult because of #SiliconValley #monopolies run by quite homogeneous people control vast swathes of the #internet and #software. 2/2

Here are some things you can do to protect yourself:
1. MANUALLY TYPE HTTPS IN EVERY URL YOU VISIT
2. Set Tor browser's security settings to "highest." You can survive just fine without JavaScript.
3. Avoid doing anything with bitcoin over Tor. Bitcoin laundering services seem to be the attacker's only target right now, but keep in mind that all traffic not explicitly encrypted is compromised.
3. Make sire you have Https Everywhere on.
