@glitcher32 how do you feel about using Cryptomator and cloud drives?

If you have a need to store of content that seems like a good use to use the cloud storage with out giving away too much trust.

On my side I don't wnat to share my individual file meta data (of course not the contents either) with the big cloud providers so the encyption works and they just get a blob.

@jonah Let's experiment! As a community (if I may be so bold since I just arrived) how do we measure if this is a success or not? Jonah, can you share the following numbers each month and we can see if the trends are going as expected:

- count of toots flagged as spam
- count of invites sent
- count of new/dropped accounts

If we see drop in spam and some usage of the invites then we are good. Back up plan is what @josantleon@mastodon.social mentioned about removing inactive accounts.

@UnixAnt - here is a bit of hair dye trivia or possibly an entry point into serious discussion on conformity... I just read that some schools in Japan require students to dye thier naturally non-black hair to black as part of a larger system to blend in.
