Last month, Kazakhstan attempted to break encrypted web traffic by asking citizens to install bad root certificates on their devices. Now the authorities say it was all just a "test." We've updated our article on the matter with the latest info: protonmail.com/blog/kazakhstan

If you use Firefox or Chrome, we developed an easy way you can help people bypass censorship.

Our Snowflake extension turns your browser into a proxy that connects Tor users in censored regions to the Tor network. snowflake.torproject.org/

Deactivating ink cartridges after cancelling a subscription is really anti-consumer. This is the problem with DRM, it restricts what the consumer can do, and doesn't prevent you from using a hack to bypass DRM.

Stores can track & target you through your devices using Bluetooth beacons, & they can do so with location data from 3rd party apps like news & weather...

We highly recommend reviewing your mobile apps & opting out of location services wherever possible. nytimes.com/interactive/2019/0

I really have a strong dislike towards people that argue from ignorance, such as ridicule of others like the EFF, for revealing the utter fallacy of Gmail's confidential mode. Then claiming such a statement is biased, honestly those people are clearly dunces.

While wireless headphones exist for the use among travelers and athletes, that doesn't mean you should deem something obsolete, when it isn't. It's an idiotic choice to make. How about supporting both blue-tooth and wired connections, that way your respecting both crowds, but of course today it's all about doing senseless things and promoting those decisions.

I really hate it when people try to promote blue-tooth headphones, and find it as a good reason for the removal of the headphone port, starting with the iPhone 7. Wired remains the best when it comes to quality. Also if cable hazards are a concern, get a velcro cable strap, that is what those are there for, to wrap your cable in a neat fashion. Also I heard that wireless is more user-friendly. Apparently the act of plugging in the cable and putting the headphones on your head is too complicated

I hate it when I need JRE to use one application, all I want is to install the application I want, and nothing more. At least it isn't someone using electron.
