Ello is a good Shitbook alternative if you really like that kind of social media.
@plathoar alot are still on Twitter and I run into the same problem. Like I want to follow anet for guildwars2 news etc but I guess it's a price I pay.
On the other hand there's NOTHING else I miss about Twitter so 😂😋
What I do is just use reddit and get all the news and chat I want from there that I can't get here 😎 👽

@buckE one of the best ways to engage people is through the federated timeline. Just hit the local button and you'll see everyone from everywhere talking about everything and just start engaging with them 😊👌🏻

Anyway the way it works is that everyone in your local timeline sees this. Everyone else if they look at the 'federated' timeline will see it as well. 😊

@gnu_nyan yeah there's alot of awesome people here! I would stay away from the federated feed. It's just a fire hose of porn and alot of other wierd stuff that once seen, cannot be unseen 😅😳😩
@UnixAnt @Domina_tenebris I haven't encountered alot of music chat in my fed. I listen to alot of heavier stuff like lamb of God, hatebreed, slayer etc and grew up listening to indie punk and was raised by headbangers 😝😛🎤🎧
