@freemo he got after he had a mental breakdown. It was all downhill from there. I don't know when exactly it started but they used him like a lab rat back then along with millions of other people.
This was just when riddlen, Prozac & frehzan etc all these head meds had just hit the market and they didn't know the long term or short term FX of them and just pumped people like him full of them and fried his brain. 😕
@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat yeah that's the primary reason. Sad but at least they're still going thru with it, and it terrifies Shitbook.

Been trying to find a nice little general instance to put around in but been unsuccessful so far 😞
I thought Mastodon cloud was perfect but the instance seems pretty dead.
@freemo I have a friend with that too. They fried the poor guys brain on head meds and his brain is swimming in so much chemical soup now he has the IQ of a child.

@nikolal that's also a very flawed analogy Google is taking and they know it.
If this was the case every social media app in existance would be in the same situation. Starting squarely with Shitbook which has thousands if not tens of thousands more hate speech groups on it than the fediverse does and Shitbook looks the other way unless they get caught yet Google doesn't mind their apps.
