@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat I agree with that. I'm starting to honestly wonder about the fediverse.
It seems like it's alot of bots and even the bigger instances don't seem as active? Maybe it's just me.

Former NSA technical director and whistleblower Bill Binney will be hosting an AMA on r/wayofthebern. Bill developed a program known as ThinThread which would utilized inductive/deductive/adductive approaches which would have monitored people for criminal activities under Constitutional grounds.

@TheDoctor there are, but 99% of us don't get to goto work for those reasons unfortunately π
@TheDoctor it just frustrates me knowing we run like rats in a treadmill for digital numbers to appear in our bank account, only to pay off other digital numbers in our bank accounts.
We're not even living to survive anymore, we've been enslaved by our species.
@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat truth be told they've actually been pretty privacy minded, but since the post Snowden era they've been using it as a selling point vs Android, and I think Tim Cook honestly does care about privacy or he wouldn't take a revenue hit to put out stuff like ios14 .
Apple is no Saint, but that's what they're reinventing themselves as so if you have to choose between shades of Grey, go Apple for privacy. π

@cjleads @jonah I'm not sure what's going to happen on this front but SOMETHING will happen. Sooner than later someone is going to invent something that will counteract facial recognition.
It could be something as simple as something you carry in your pocket the size of an iPod player that puts out a signal that distorts your digital image to cameras etc but it's always a cat and mouse game.
