Watched #Gameofthrones #got
Everything that happened was pretty predictable. Still a decent episode though.
The best part and only highlight for me was the screaming dead kid nailed to the wall. That was cool π

@gamzee can't agree there. I drink black coffee all day everyday and love it πβοΈ
We already know that the USA has tried and is STILL trying to pass laws to build in back doors to cryptography and even trying to get it banned altogether (but still letting the government use it of course in a stunning double standard)
Facebook has convinced an entire generation that not having privacy is normal and giving away every detail of your life is normal and encouraged and the government is right behind them hoovering it all up with glee.
I think of of the BIGGEST things we should be talking about especially in a privacy instance is the arrest of Julian Assange.
Simply because the impact of free speech and journalism are now literally in the cross hairs of the US government.
The USA has been a surveillance state for a long time (thx Snowden) but this will make it orwellian.
@ChangelingRandy keep in mind many Mastodon instances force you to add text to images like NSFW
@BurungHantu bitcoin isn't anonymous even if you use a tumbler and wash your coins.
Zcash and Monero on the other hand ππ»
@jubes no problem hope you enjoy π
Sorry about getting back late to you I keep forgetting to switch instances π€¦π»ββοΈ
@jonah oh ok sure!
I'm how do I link my general account? ππ
I know how to do this on Twitter when I still used it but still learning things at Mastodon.
@jonah I haven't used peertube before but I would for the instance π
@Mayana BTW check out "twit" if you never heard of it before.
Is like a DYI channel that hosts a ton of cool tech podcast shows on everything from Linux to iOS to Android and they have apps with just audio to listen to to π
@Mayana yeah I don't want to spam it with my random thoughts and musings lol π
@Mayana wow. I just never thought a blind person could use a smart phone that's really cool.
Yeah iPhone has a good audio reader. I use it with websites all the time when I'm to lazy to read or driving etc πππ
@purplewatermelon mint is what I use to. It's a great os.
