So I've made a very hard decision. I've removed a childhood friend from my life. I'm not going to say forever, but it's going to be a long time before we talk again if ever.

I don't have time for cancerous people in my life.

@Wetrix

In the end your friend may gain from it, too. Seeing people turn away makes you think about what you're doing wrong and sometimes take action to change your life.

@Wetrix that sucks to make that kind of decision as I’m sure it wasn’t an easy one to make, but you did the right thing for yourself. Hopefully in time this friend can change for the better, even if the two of you don’t speak again, so at least all their other relationships improve as well. You owe it to yourself to take care of you first.

@thedeltaflyer thanks appreciate it.

Maybe one day we'll touch base again, but I'm not sure when that'll be. I realized this person is one of the primary sources of irritation in my life and the bad times are out weighing the good. So for now at least, yep it's time for me to move on.
