@Husky hey man ive got an idea for a feature request, tell me if you like it:
1) add "instances" tab to the search menu to allow people to navigate to instances and view the local timelines of them, or to paste a direct https link to an account. One funny thing about fedi client apps is that they don't allow you to browse servers. So you wind up clicking links, opening things in browsers, things like that and it adds friction to the mobile fediverse ux.
2) possibly add search button to the top bar instead of nesting it in the menu to make it a first class citizen.
It wouldn't really be a search option, more like a URL bar that renders the feed of the AP server URL you enter, but I just think it makes sense to stick it in search. I could be wrong about this, but it would be a trivial feature to implement since all the assets to render feeds are already in the app, but it would make it much more powerful, beyond any other mobile clients I've seen.
