@Wetrix It's stuff like this that makes me want to give up the privacy fight and just go back to doing what everyone else is doing.
@nathand @Wetrix I don't know. It's a very weird post that throws around all kinds of claims, true or not.
For example the censorship claim **is stated to be wrong** in the article linked as proof for it.
And it's kind of contradicting to complain about possible censorship and then complain why Cloudflare-based pages rank up high in results.
I would prefer some proper research done by scientific standards and not just a regular internet rando throwing around "This is evil".
@sheogorath True. Though we have little evidence that they aren't doing some of those things, too. They're not very transparent about their operations. At least, not that I can find.
@sheogorath @nathand well they have some points that are valid, and it's always healthy to remain skeptical because as soon as we don't that's when the wool is quietly pulled over our eyes. ππ
