It makes me sad watching documentaries on terrorist attacks and such, because it's never going to stop.
The human race has been killing each other since the beginning of time, and it's so embedded in us as a species, violence, ideologies, conflict, that it's never going to end.
We kill over ideas, religion, skin color, wealth, poverty, power etc it'll never stop.
And to think we call everything else on the planet animals.

@lnx I don't think they'd going to be a space Era tbh. We can't even goto the moon on a consistent basis without blowing ourselves up.
I don't think planetary travel is in the cards for us before it's too late π
@Wetrix it would've been nice if we could. Unfortunately I we're still living in a modern dark age. Nothing too major will happen just yet though so we're safe to live pretty good for now.
@ParmuTownley I don't think it is a better place than before tbh.
We live in an age where it only takes one idiot, one misunderstood war to fry the entire planet with nuclear weapons and fallout.
That's not even talking about biological weapons.

@Wetrix sadly it feels like we were born in the world era. I really wished that I was born in the space Era so I could travel the galaxy, exploring new worlds and cultures.
