@Wetrix like I get it if you think some information is misleading and whatever, even if I disagree I get it, but blocking a link to a lawsuit? Isn't that a bit ridiculous?

@mistermonster twitters blatent bias is so bad that they don't even try to hide it anymore.

@Wetrix yeah but bias is one thing. Access to a court document that is very pertinent to everyone, even those that don't agree with the author of the document, that to me is much more dangerous.

@mistermonster welcome to the biased left social media that reside in silicon valley California.

And why they are going to revoke their law 230 privelages and protection 😊🌴

@Wetrix those are our privileges too. Fedi is protected by section 230. We need it more than them. They want the section repealed to hurt our social media.

@mistermonster oh yeah I totally agree. They want it gone so they can go lawyer crazy the second they see something they don't like on the internet.

Maybe the only solution would be a decentralized fediverse so there's no one point that can be shut down?

@Wetrix well, the network couldn't be shut down, but someone could spam privacytools.io for example with pirated movies and get the site sued into oblivion, and you'd need a new home.

I think the solution is to let the big social media sites lose market share over time to networks like this. The fediverse is growing, twitter is shrinking, and the trend will continue. There is no need to intervene with government.

If someone wanted to change law to solve the problem, an amended 230 with a requirement to allow content legal in the US would be better, but I still do not think that is ideal.
