@Wetrix Josh Hawley wants to repeal section 230 of the Communications Decency Act on the pretext that it would hurt the big tech companies. Why would you want to repeal a law that you accuse them of being in violation of because it would hurt them? That doesn't add up.

Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act is what gives social.privacytools.io and firebird.zone the ability to host user generated content without fear of being liable for what users post. Big tech companies are capable of automating moderation, they curate their sites and "editorialize" as it has been put. They don't need section 230, we do. And we are their competition.

He works for them. All this outrage is just theater. Don't trust him and don't trust any politician.

@Wetrix this is a bit of a sensationalism. I listened to the entire hearing. The tools that were talked about where "Tasks" and "Cintra".

Calling them tools of censorship is a bit misleading. The conversation was about content moderation, especially misinformation related to elections.
