Firefox on iOS kinda sucks. Brave or Safari with AdGuard is much better

@blueberry hey there!

I prefer FF myself. There's Firefox private I think it's called? It's a hardened version with way more security features then just vanilla FF.

I wouldn't touch brave. It's built on Chrome and they also were caught in a scam with people's info to inject links.

Safari isn't to bad.

@Wetrix yeah Firefox Focus seems good! Iโ€™ll try it out

Well, brave isnโ€™t built on Chrome on iOS because itโ€™s built on safari, right? Either way, itโ€™s still pretty good on iOS. I do avoid it on my computer, though

@blueberry I don't think it's built in safari but I could be wrong.

Either way they got caught in a scam harvesting data to sell inject links and they built there platform off Google so I won't touch them in any platform.

Mozilla isn't perfect but they seem more trustworthy imo ๐Ÿ”—๐Ÿ™‚

@Wetrix I think all browsers on iOS use Safari web rendering engine.

Yeah, I donโ€™t use Brave on desktop, but I remember reading a research paper how Firefox actually sends more telemetry than Brave with default settings. Definitely tradeoffs with either
