They've already achieved quantum encryption. It's insane to understand but the messages are in an ion that then exists at two places at once at the same time and only the other ion can interact or read it or something crazy like that. Quantum mechanics is like trying to understand the universe so don't ask me ππ€£

They're now thinking that quantum Computers will be able to break the block chain in the not to far future. I read they could decrypt 25% recently in under 10 min in a recent test.
