I've been using Ubuntu Touch for the better part of today on my old OnePlus 6 and I just want to say I finally get why people say its good but not daily driver ready. I always was like "eh how bad could it be, its got gesture based nav, its optimised for slower hardware, etc" but the gestures are janky and don't work 75% of the time, the apps are almost all webapps, even on my decently fast OP6 video is barely watchable. I wish them the best but its not good enough to daily as it stands now.

@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat hmm that's to bad. I'd love to have a tablet that ran Linux and touch based, but like you said it sounds not ready yet. 🤕

@Wetrix I'm really hoping that some of the shortcomings are due to just the device I have, but it has a higher finished status and is miles more powerful than the PinePhone so it sounds like it might be that across the board. I hope the PineTab and PinePhone work out well and the project will become more polished so everyone will finally have viable options for a Linux phone and tablet.

@ThreeBadgersInATrenchcoat that would def be nice! A touch based Ubuntu or something that worked well would be awesome!
